What I'm Reading Now:

What I've Read:

Well I finally finished my book. It was very interesting. It is not a usual book that I would read. But I managed to get through it. It wasn't really what I expected. I have never read a book like this. It was scientifical yet fictional, imaginative. I would recommend it to people who are interested in this kind of stuff. I came in not knowing what to expect from this book.

I'm almost done. three more chapters to go. Finally. her dad comes in. He seems a bit different. He doesn't really know how to act towards them. He is acting as if he has no idea who they are. These are his children. He has to already know what to do. Its not like they are complete strangers to him. But, yet he seems to act as if they were. Maybe he was out of the picture because he never really cared about them. The youngest son Charles is acting strange. He doesn't want to talk to his dad. He also is acting as if his father were a stranger. But the daughter Meg acts like nothing is wrong. Even though he seems to ignore her.

10/27/10
Once again more weird characters come in. The IT, seems to know something out their father. This seems to be important because they haven't really mentioned him. He hasn't been mentioned for a reason but what could that reason possibly be? Is there something wrong with their dad. I wonder how the dad and children are going to act around each other.

10/26/10
Yet another character. Every chapter seems to be about a new character. This has to be for a reason. I get really confused when a new character comes in because the author describes them in a weird way. I can't really get a visual image of them in my head. First there's one character then theres another than another. The chapters chouldn't be specifically about one character.

10/8/10
All these other characters like Mrs.Whatsit and Mrs.Whosit are characters that come in and have a chapter of their own. These characters seem to be real and Charlie the little brother seems to have met them all. But they seem to be fantasy and not real. These characters make you want to believe they are real like humans and seem to talk the same but they aren't. The whole family seems to know all about theses characters because of Charlie. The main character which is the sister seems to be a little confused. The fantasy characters want her to not think weird about them but all the main character could do is accept them. She wonders weather to trust them or not. She wants to look up past information about them. She had never seen these "people" before. Mrs.Whatsit said she lived in a house that others around thought was either abandoned or haunted.

10/1/10
The main character is weirded out by this new person that has showed up. She has learned that her name is Mrs.Whatsit. She has learned that Mrs.Whatsit has stolen sheets from the neighbors. The little brother is mad because of this. He says she shouldn't have stole sheets. He says he should have asked him for sheets. Her answer is that she stole it from the neighbors because they have plenty of sheets to spare and they wouldn't notice of they were missing them. Mrs.Whatsit didn't take the sheets away from Charlie and his family because they need all of their sheets.

The main character in the book is talking about her family. She tried defending her little brother because a boy was saying things about her brother. The boy ended up giving her a black eye. Her brother didn't even say thank you for defending me. All he said was that he could defend himself and didn't need her picking his fights. The mom of the character is finally mentioned in the book. While, it was raining outside they heard a noise in the laboratory and found out it was a friend of the little brother. The friend lived in a house were no one dared to go or enter. They thought the home was abandoned. The little brother found out about this person because his puppy left and he was chasing after him.

Right now I'm still reading A Wrinkle in Time, Madeleine L'Engle.
I started reading it and I found out that both her parents are scientist. It made me question if her parents pay any attention to her because they seem like busy people. If they don't pay attention, I wonder how she feels.
